This week’s challenge over at I Heart Faces was so fun. I love a beautifully sun-washed image, and the minute I saw this I knew which photo I would enter. This is my beautiful friend Kara; I had the honor of photographing her and her beautiful belly at her gorgeous home just before precious baby C. arrived. This was one of my favorites from our session, and I can’t wait to get baby C. in front of my camera later this week.

I love this week’s challenge over at I Heart Faces! The entries have been great; so many little toes and fingers and belly buttons. It is so amazing to see what comes out in an image when you take the face out of the equation.
I have always loved this quiet little moment I caught of my baby girl; I think she was about one here, and lost in her own little baby world; no doubt she was searching for something she could cram into her mouth before mommy noticed. But from my vantage point, all I could see was my precious little girl, in a world of her own, dreaming her baby daydreams. Ahh, how I love these quiet moments.
